If you get up early, you will be more refreshed for the day. This will allow you to focus on your work and not be distracted by the other activities of the day. Moreover, waking up consistently at the same time will improve your sleep quality, which will increase your happiness; thereby, increasing your productivity<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Start with a positive attitude<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Start your day with a positive attitude. This will set the tone for the rest of the day. Be optimistic and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I heard this a while back an it really paints the right picture of waking up. Would you rather get 1 million dollars and not wake up tomorrow, or know that you will wake up tomorrow. Most people say that they would rather wake up tomorrow. Therefore, you are essentially valuing waking up in the morning more than 1 million dollars, so why more excited waking up then getting a million dollars? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This reflective thought exercise, truly puts the value of waking up in the morning. We should all be grateful of waking up and ought to enjoy each and every day we get. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Exercise<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Exercise gives you energy, clears your head, and helps you focus during the morning hours. If you\u2019re not used to exercising in the morning, start with a small amount of exercise and gradually increase over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply get out of the house<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try to get out of the house and into a new environment for the morning. This will help you feel more energized and motivated. The idea is to simply stretch your body and getting your blood flowing before you begin working for the day. So a 2km walk, while drinking your morning coffee is enough. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While growing up, most parents enforce making your bed in the morning. Well it turns out, that making your bed is a great way of waking up. Not only are you accomplishing a task right off the start of your day, but you are also organizing your space. Your environment <\/a>plays a large part into your mindset<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Eat Breakfast<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

it has become common knowledge that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Studies <\/a>have show the benefits of breakfast to be more healthy diets, lifestyle, improved bowel functioning, lower cholesterol, and lower risk of hypertension. Keep in mind, that these benefits are not from a full course breakfast, but rather from a simple bowl of whole-grain cereals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start the day off with a puzzle or little mental game. For example, crosswords, sudokus, or even word-search puzzles. These will get your mind working, studies have shown many benefits for these puzzles. For example, crosswords <\/a>have been associated with better linguistic abilities and general knowledge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
